Awareness of the potential negative impact of hearing loss on people’s lives is steadily growing. Helped by (international) legislation and regulations, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, the United Nations Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the European Commission’s Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030, digital accessibility for people with hearing loss has been improving.
